Excellent hotel with free wi-fi, a lovely restaurant, and 24-hour reception. The staff even helped me find my lost necklace during my first stay. Highly recommended for a comfortable experience. I'll be back for a city trip!

The unit we got was comfy with the window of the bathroom, a 4 poster bed plus a beautiful view.

the place was fairly clean and nicely decorated, it had lovely friendly staff in explaining things re covid over all so let down by unimagtive food offerings compared to other properties we have been to and charged same overall price. the accommodation had a very central location unable to use the bar or the restaurant.

By and large, it was excellent base for sightseeing in Salisbury, had much fun and met attentive staff in explaining things re covid over all so let down by unimagtive food offerings compared to other properties we have been to and charged same overall price. The location was marvellous, close to such places like a theatre and a cathedral. The view of Salisbury cathedral from the window was exceptional, loved it.

In this hotel we immediately felt comfortable. It is a little older, partly also used - but this is compensated by the friendliness of the staff, the cleanliness and the excellent location of the hotel. We arrived a little later as planned and still got something to eat in the restaurant. The food was excellent.

hot breakfast (egg dishes etc.) are charged, rooms on the ground floor were very light

The location is amazing, beautiful by river, great vies and large terrace. So close to Salisbury centre, walking distance. spacious rooms, had everything I needed. Staff very friendly and helpful. Great food, lots of choice at breakfast.
Main entrance looking a little unloved and such dark colours. It is such an old and beautiful place would be wonderful if it could be given some attention

beautiful riverside views with easy cathedral access
I loved that it was just a few steps from the fine cathedral and had beautiful views of the river Avon right from the dining area. I particularly appreciated the spacious room with very comfortable bedding that allowed for a restful night after a day of exploring.

The location of the hotel right on the bank of the River Avon is what makes staying here special. The ambience when eating on the terrace or sitting in the garden is so tranquil and peaceful. The resident white duck is an added attraction.
Music played out on the terrace and at breakfast in the dining room which is intrusive and jarring. A lack of care for the overall impression of the place. No colourful touches or style in the reception area. Dining room is unrelieved brown.

Had a lovely time at this hotel, especially enjoying the beautiful river views and the cozy fireplace in the lounge. It's perfect for unwinding with a drink on the sun terrace or taking a relaxing stroll in the garden area. Just a heads-up, the breakfast service was a bit slow, but it didn't take away from our overall enjoyment. 🍳
